Ergh, 7564 is a typo, it's supposed to be 7546. Fixing...

I've added page for the 7564 Industrial Computer:

https://ardent-tool.com/7564/

For now it only contains the most basic info, links, and all the
relevant announcement letters I could find.

There's also a photo gallery under the "Common Devices" page:

https://ardent-tool.com/7564/Common.html

(photos sourced from ebay seller "pcheaven201", more specifically this
auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/223955312121)

If you have more info about these machines (there are at least 3
different models), please let me know!

(the "7564" link will continue to work for now, but please don't post it anywhere)

I'm more familiar with the ISA multiport adapters, a couple of years back I wanted to contact Quadron to see if they would release a version of their software to a poor hobbyist like me. I'll even bet that parallel port lead masks the security dongle on
the I/O (actually just the 8 ports of the multiport adapter) break-out bracket - there is no other reason for it to be there.

I'm seeing what I believe to be a SCSI connection, and I don't think it is headless for his screen pictures (although it looks like a flat-panel or laptop) - that's likely an 8557 or 9557 planar and riser. If an 8557, it prompts question if the VRAM
sockets are fully populated - and that is what I'm going with unless the seller is breezing through (planar) XGA-2 errors. I don't see the VESA driver on the screen, and it looks like the Quadron software is going into a diagnostic. Still, I may see if
the seller wants to venture below a third of that price.

It appears that the microchannel Industrials are getting sorted off together - I know the PICMG 75xx and PC 350-based Industrials are documented well (from Kevin, where I got mine?) but I can kick some more stuff up on those too.

Yeah not sure whether it's an 8557 or 7557... The machine sticker isn't
of much help unfortunately:

https://ardent-tool.com/7546/7546_Switch.jpg

Instead of the usual

Type-Model
Serial No.

this machine has

Type-Serial No.

Or at least that's what I assume it is...

Does your 7541/2 use the same format?
