The TNT488 chip was never used on Micro Channel, but damn near
everything else, ISA, EISA, PCI, PCMCIA, NuBus, LC
The "High Speed" or HS488 seems to be on the TNT chip and it was not
very useful unless you did big transfers, or the overhead ate you alive
[like ravenous Brittany puppy teethies].
Supposedly the Keithley KPC488 was a better performer, even without NI's
HS488. I dunno, haven't found the actual documentation yet...
