• Sometimes can't connect to Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Desktop WiFi Range

Sometimes iPhones (6+ and 11 Pro Max) can't connect to Netgear Nighthawk
AC1900 Desktop WiFi Range Extender (EX7000-100NAS; AC1900). They use the
same wireless SSIDs (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) from the old Netgear R6300 v1.0
router. They tend to lose wifi connections when moving around far away
from the router or coming back close to the router. I *think* they're
confused even their though signal strengths are strong like standing
right next to it. Sometimes disabling and re-enabling iPhones' wifi
fixes it. Rebooting the extender usually fixes it. Everything have the (lat/new)est stock official updates.

What's wrong? Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)
