-   4+ years BI Data Analysis experience, some of which for ecommerce marketplaces or web companies
-   Strong SQL data extraction and query creation
-  Web Analytics (tool: Google Analytics)

Day to Day:
Our downtown client is looking for a BI Analyst to work primarily with their global product teams to improve their understanding of conversion drivers and to optimize product experience through A/B testing. He or she will perform BI, data, and web
analytics in an ecommerce environment then take that data and create reports to provide insight into product support on their web page, home page, application, etc. as well as traffic monitoring.
 
Key responsibilities:
•            Assist in understanding traveler engagement and conversion behavior on our sites,
•            Provide insightful analyses, strategic recommendations, and holistic readouts to drive product improvement and to inform new feature and model rollouts
•            Turn data-based observations and insights into hypotheses through analytical rigor, leading to A/B tests that will confirm or deny those hypotheses and ultimately improve the performance of our sites
•            Monitor traveler engagement and conversion trends across client's worldwide network, identify breaks in trends, understand underlying drivers, and surface opportunities and threats
•            Develop product analysis advanced metrics and visuals, by collecting and integrating data from various sources, including web analytics tools and internal databases
•            Ability to structure problems in a top-down way and produce data driven solutions to address them
•            Strong data analytics skills with a capability to model customer and traffic behaviors to diagnose drivers and risks
•            Strong product development mindset and focus on actionable analytics: e.g. Ability to surface signals in our data and work with Product/Engineering to transform these into concrete tests
