Type: 6-10 week contract

You are an experienced Interaction Designer with a strong sense of user experience (UX) design, who creates innovative and intuitive solutions. You thrive in a self-motivated environment and reliably deliver quality results in a timely manner. You enjoy
solving new problems, contributing to product strategy and are able to easily adapt to new problems thrown your way. You are a team player and enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers, developers, and other designers. Lastly, you
are a storyteller who is excited to evangelize identified opportunities, solutions and new directions.

Essential Functions

Embody the customers needs, advocate for them and passionately develop experiences to delight them
Take on complex tasks and transform them into beautiful easy-to-use designs
Develop storyboards, annotated wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that bring experiences to life in a simple, yet sophisticated way for both stakeholders and users
Deliver on commitments
Evangelize designs and experiences within the organization
Research and keep up with interaction design and technology trends
Run manager rapid design and sketch sessions to solve key problems
Create and execute usability test scripts and reports
Gauge the usability of new and existing products and make constructive suggestions for change
Be extremely receptive to feedback from users and stakeholders alike while ensuring the final product meets user and business needs
Craft user flows and experience maps
Actively participate in user research events

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements

BA/BS degree in Design or a related field or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of active design experience on web and/or mobile applications
Demonstrated experience in various digital interfaces (be prepared to show a portfolio)
User research and usability testing experience preferable
Proficient with industry standard design tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with web or mobile based technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android Studio, XCode, etc. preferred but not required
