Hi. I'm doing research in rapid prototyping, and I'm looking for a
robotic arm + conroller with following specs:
1) 6-axis/6 degrees of freedom
2) Shielded/Hardened
3) Workspace: MIN (3 ft X 3ft)... Not too big.
4) Weight Capacity: 5-6 kg
5) Conroller as transparent as possible:
I want to be able to write a computer program on a host terminal
that will be given 3-D coordinates PLUS extra 3-D orientation of torch,
and transform data to controller for continous motion of the arm along
the coordinate space. Path should be minimum path. So controller has to
be easily interfaceable and easily modified to handle such data.
I want to spend most of my time on writing the feedback control system, rather than reprogramming the controller...
