It generalizes the special case of traditional static real-time computing to the much larger context of dynamic systems. The generalization has proven in practice to enable the specification, implementation, and analysis of dependable time-constrained
systems having inherent dynamic uncertainties, which conventional real-time concepts and technologies cannot do.
