The scanner we used is 3DHISTECH, its Slide Converter tool to convert mrxs file to DICOM.
After uploading WSI DICOM to Slim, we try to annotate WSI ROI. But it did not work.
Due to default setting, the values of Image Orientation Slide is [-1,0,0,0,-1,0].
Dr. Herrmann mentioned that they found out the value of the Image Orientation Slide attribute was incorrect.
Dr. Herrmann suggested that the value set should comply with the standard as [0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 0]、[0, -1, 0, -1, 0, 0]、[1, 0, 0, 0, -1, 0]、[-1, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0].
After modify 3DHISTECH Image Orientation Slide attribute to [-1.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0], the Slim can annotate WSI ROI.
Afterward, we query the 3DHISTECH whether could change the Image Orientation Slide attribute for standards compliant.
The 3DHISTECH reply as follow, =====================================================================
The origin is correct, the image is not mirrored.

Please take a look at C.8.12.4.1.4 as well, because it specifies the Total Pixel Matrix Origin Sequence and Image Orientation (Slide).
(0048,0102) is cos180 = -1 =====================================================================
We are not sure whether the 3DHISTECH description about Image Orientation Slide attribute is correct.
As a result, we know that Slim unable to annotate when 3DHISTECH DICOM Image Orientation Slide is [-1.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, -1.0, 0.0].
May we know how we could explain above mentioned issues to 3DHISTECH more clearly and precisely ?
