    I'm trying to use the REST services to retrieve a patient study by providing the patient ID using the REST services but I can't see any REST services that provides that.

    You first have to get the Study Instance UIDs of Studies of the patient by a Search Transaction (QIDO-RS):

    GET {SERVICE}/studies?00100020={patient-id}

    before retrieving the objects of each individual Study by Retrieve Transaction (WADO-RS):

    GET {SERVICE}/studies/{study-instance-uid}

    There is no dicomWeb Search Transaction on Patient level. You may search for All Studies for a particular Patient, which also returns the Patient Name for each matching Study

    GET {SERVICE}/studies?00100020={patient-id}
