• Problems with VxWorks 6.9 on the Arria 10 ?

From John Chludzinski@21:1/5 to All on Mon Oct 7 09:41:04 2019
    1. We are using VxWorks 6.9 for the Arria 10 SoC. The kernel vxWorks completes initialization and calls usrShell(). However, the shell does not execute the defined startup script, does not print any error messages, and does not provide a shell
prompt. VxWorks is configured for INCLUDE_SHELL and SHELL_START_AT_BOOT is TRUE. Any ideas on how to debug this?

    2. The default VxWorks configuration for the Arria 10 SoC includes the Synopsys UART and Micrel PHY. The initialization functions for the default devices are interfering with the actual devices. How do we disable the default device drivers?

    3. What effect does the file 20bsp.cdf have on the VxWorks configuration? When configurations and dependencies were removed, files prjComps.h and prjParams.h contained the deleted includes.

    4. Is there a guide on how to use the BSP file hwconf.c? How do we know what configuration fields to use?

    5. We're using u-boot as the bootloader.
