• Emulex Performance 2500/4000 LAT terminal servers

(Man the spam has really gotten out of hand. I wish Google would get
its greedy paws away from Usenet!)

I'm looking for the firmware file for the Emulex Performance 2500 and Performance 4000 terminal servers. Would anyone happen to have these in
    an old archive somewhere?

I really regret not having saved a copy when I managed a gaggle of
P4000s at work in the early 1990s. :-(

Bloody hell, that brings back some memories. What I remember most about
the P4000 terminal servers (apart from poor TCP/IP performance over WAN connections) was that it was cheaper to put them on DEC support in the
UK than it was to put the comparable DEC terminal servers on support. :-)

I just had a quick look on Bitsavers and couldn't see anything matching.

Walking destinations on a map are further away than they appear.

Did you find someone who sent the image to you?

I'm sure I have the image on my fibre channel drive, that I have to
    reactivate.

Let me know if you need my help.

    regards
    Eberhard

Nice :) Yeah we had several P4000s at work, all on the LAN though.
I thought they were pretty nice.

Hi Eberhard, no, nothing yet. Can you spin up that drive when you
    have a chance?

    Thanks,
    -Dave

Hi Eberhard, were you able to locate this file? I still need it, if so.

    Thanks,
