From Barry Landy@21:1/5 to All on Mon Oct 2 12:04:24 2017
To avoid my reinventing the while I would appreciate guidance on getting
CD/DVD read/write to work in Arcaos

I have in the past used RSJ very happily but I seem not to be able to
    make it work.

    So I would appreciate
    either
    a) guidance on making it work
    b) guidance on alternatives and making it/them work

    Thanks in advance

I have not installed RSJ to ArcaOS as the DVD Tools package supplied
with ArcaoS seems to work fine.

If you did not install DVD Tools during ArcaOS installation you should
    find it in [DVD]:\CID\SERVER\ARCAPKG\DVDTOOLS.WPI

Yes, DVD Tools is a valuable front end for cdrecord.

The call of cdrecord itself is very user-friendly, so for e.g. burning
a DVD from an .iso file, it doesn't need any option parameter, IIRC.
I've used it to burn the ArcaOS DVDs.
