• Qt SQLite database plugin

    From A.D. Fundum@21:1/5 to All on Fri Apr 1 00:42:39 2016
QupZilla stopped worked again (GCC482 & SYS 2070). An update of
QupZilla produces an error message. A "Qt SQLite database plugin is
    not available. Please install it".

    What's "it"?

    I see a QT4 MySQL plugin, libqt4-sql-mysql
    and a QT4 PostgreSQL plugin, libqt4-sql-psql
But no SQLite plugin, just the sqlite package

    For users of eCS 1.x/Warp 4 DIR LIBQ* @ ftp.netlabs.org doesn't return
    any match.

    Inside ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/qt4/4.7.3.2/qt4-4.7.3.2-1.zip ?
Otherwise all I can find are the RPMs, which do work fine on Warp V4 and presumably eCS 1.x

That does look promising indeed, but with QupZilla installed in the
same directory as the plugin DLLs of this package (\qt4-4.7.3.2-1\plugins\sqldrivers) QupZilla still claims that "it"
    has to be installed.

According to PM DLL it looks like such a Qt SQL DLL requires yet
another DLL, SSL10.DLL (don't have it, but I'll give OpenSSL a try).
    Thanks!

If only software, which requires software, which requires software,
which requires software, would also solve a rather complicated disk
full-error (which requires a full reinstall to gain a few MBs)... :-o

OpenSSL wasn't the right guess... Where can one find this SSL10.DLL?

    Perhaps on bauxite? http://bauxite.sakura.ne.jp/software/os2/#openssl
Note also this may be needed, ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/qtapps/QtNet4_Fix_SSL.zip

Ah, Wget 1.14 contains a few rare DLLs.

Excellent. I've downloaded this fix too, but for now I've abandoned
attempts to install QupZilla because actually installing all
requirements and up-to-date components is far, far, far, far too
complicated, ignoring the fact that it should be some lightweight
    alternative for FF/SM.

At the moment QupZilla still claims that the fully undocumented "it"
has to be installed. There's no clue to upgrade Qt, but the full Qt
version you've mentioned appears to be newer than mine. And so on.
Downgrading GCC482.DLL (IIRC) and using an older version of QupZilla
may be easier; older versions of QupZilla (pre-1.8?) don't require
    "it".

I think I'll try it again later.

You probably don't have to downgrade GCC482.DLL, at least the newer one _should_ be compatible.

Solved. Somehow QupZilla v1.5.0 instead of v1.8.0 (the last version
which doesn't require "it") still was installed on one system, and
    a.o. GCC482.DLL was upgraded.

    FWIW, w.r.t. GCC482-developments (for a browser, v1.5.0 is almost
    antique):

    04-11-2016 10:08:42 SYS2070 PID 0038 TID 0001 Slot 00a0
    B:\QUPZILLA.EXE
    QUPZILLA->GCC482.101
    182

I'll try to install "it" anyway, to be able to upgrade to v1.8.9. But
    for now v1.8.0 works too.
