Deleting the truthful comments on Tholen's usenet history is
communistic/anti-democratic behavior.
So I gather that the Tholen of Usenet is a Heaven's Gate representative.
What does your classic illogic have to do with classical music, Fields?

Are you still using OS/2, tholen?

I doubt he has it under that name, as IBM dropped it a dozen years ago,
but it is still on the market, first as eComStation, and, recently, as ArcaOS. I don’t think it will last forever, as it’s still 32-bit only, but many banks, etc., made strategic moves to OS/2, and prefer not to change.
However, nowadays, IBM is promoting macOS as its main alternative desktop/laptop.

People have proclaimed the death of OS/2 before, Kennedy. People have been wrong every time, Kennedy.
What does your pontification have to do with classical music, Kennedy?

Don’t talk to me about OS/2.
I was there from 1987 on; still have a lot of OS/2 tchotkas.
But IBM stopped selling it over a decade ago, and it’s still limited to 32-bit use.
(For comparison, the only 32-bit product Apple still has is the Apple
Watch.)
I gave information relevant to a question that had been asked.
