My most frequently used Pentium III IBM T23 just died. Possibly a fuse
or a dead mobo.
Is it possible to upgrade the 1.2 (not 1.2R) installation CD to work
with a dual core IBM/Lenovo T60p? If so, do you replace file in an ISO
file or do you have to create a new bootable CD ISO file? If so, by
using e.g. CDBoot @ Hobbes?
Without upgrades and a skipped TESTCFG.SYS the best result (single
core, performance mode) is the partitioning GUI, without a recognized
drive. In compatibility mode the installer crashes.
Can I skip TESTCFG.SYS again, use performance mode, use
SMP20050811.ZIP to obtain a SMP kernel, and upgrade DANI* to support
Disabling the second core ia an option too, but not the prefered
--Just use UPDCD to make an updated bootable CD with all the SMP files
Is it possible to upgrade the 1.2 (not 1.2R) installation CD to workyou need ACPI and quite sure Panorama VESA to get running this model
with a dual core IBM/Lenovo T60p?
