• OS/2 (and Win 7) on USB 3 mobo

My solution is to purchase from startech.com a PCIe expansion card hosting a
4 port USB 2 controller. Plug your USB mouse and keyboard into the new ports and your OS will work.

When you want to change the mobo BIOS settings you must plug the aforementioned mouse and keyboard into the mobo USB ports.

Another useful product from startech is their adapter for connecting two PS/2 plugs to one USB socket.

ArcaOS seem to have been saying that USB3 is "almost ready" for quite a
while now. Hopefully it will appear soon and make the purchase of USB2 controller cards for use with USB3 only systems unnecessary.
