• ANNOUNCE: DJGPP port of library JPEG 9e uploaded.

    From [via djgpp-announce@delorie.com]" <@21:1/5 to All on Mon May 16 19:10:32 2022
This is a port of library JPEG 9e to MSDOS/DJGPP.

    DJGPP specific changes.
    =======================

SIGINT and SIGQUIT will be reenabled if stdin and/or stdout are
switched to binary mode while they are connected to the console.
This is the only DJGPP specific change to the sources I have done.
Apart from this, only the usual configuration files have been added,
especialy sed scripts to fix the libtool files and they are located
in the /djgpp directory together with the diffs.

To configure and compile the package and later to use it, you will
have to install the zlib and the png port available at
    ftp.delorie.com and mirrors as:
    ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2tk/zlb1212b.zip
    ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2tk/png1637b.zip
Of course, you can download any newer version of these both libraries
    if available.

To compile the source code LFN support is required. I have build it
on WinXP and Win98SE but I have never tried to build it on any other
    OS.

As usual, all djgpp specific files (diffs, README files, etc.) are
stored in the /djgpp directory. The sources have been configured to
be build in the "0build" directory. If for some reason it does not
work for you, delete its contents and configure from scratch again
    running the command: ..\djgpp\config.bat ../.

For further information about library JPEG please read the docs and
    NEWS file.

The port consists of the usual two packages that have been produced
using djdev205 (CVS repository code) and can be downloaded from
ftp.delorie.com and mirrors as (time stamp 2022-04-24):

library JPEG 9e scripts, headers, libs and man format documentation:
    ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2tk/jpeg9eb.zip

    library JPEG 9e source:
    ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2tk/jpeg9es.zip

Send library JPEG specific bug reports to <jpeg-info@uc.ag>.
Send suggestions and bug reports concerning the DJGPP port to
    comp.os.msdos.djgpp or <djgpp@delorie.com>.

    Enjoy.
