Well, the newsgroup is mostly lurkers who will respond to interesting
enough questions (and a resident troll/graffitist who actually does most
of the posting.) They might move to lurking in a blog. There are some good people here so their comments on projects/code would be useful.
It's possible it might draw out some people working on projects that
haven't felt the need to post their progress here.
