I didn't, I gave it another try, this time making sure it wasn't
sending the video to my TV screen - it was. Turning it on to that
HDMI input helped. Win11 is *history*.

That was never the problem, Rufus is exactly what one is supposed to
use for this, people at M$ would, themselves.
use Window 11 to burn the .iso to your USB drive.
You can do it at the Admin command line, or try WonderISO.

The Windows OS comes with nothing that can do it, for an ISO like
