I have just installed Linux on a second machine, and I want it to support
the TCP/IP stack. I have installed the Network packages, and when
running loopback everything is fine. The question that I have is this:
what do I need to do to install a network card into Linux? I have a
WD8003 (old 8-bit) that I want it to support so that I can directly
connect from my other computer via a TCP/IP stack (Also, if anyone can
tell me how to set up a DOS machine for TCP/IP access I would be greatful.) Thank you in advance for all the help....

You're wasting your time, amigo. It's like carrying a drop of water
into the Sahara desert. We have to face the fact that the
process of evolution doesn't necessarily guarantee improvement.
PROGRESS (n.)
How the internet has evolved from smart people sitting at
dumb terminals into dumb people sitting at smart terminals.
