• Fedora MediaWriter FAILS

    Tried to run FedoraMediaWriter-win32-4.0.8 on Windows 7-64.
    Installs, but fails to run. Error message:

    "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    This applicaion has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
    unusual way.
    Please contact the application's support team."

    Tried to run in XP-32 compatabilty mode with same results.

    Fedora IS Linux. MediaWriter is used to make a bootable Linux USB
    drive.

    I suggest you ask in a group specific to Fedora, they should be more
    familiar with the tool.

    Unfortunately, all the Fedora groups appear to be nothing but spam.

    Many popular usenet groups are subject to spam and trolling, it is
    unavoidable. There is no "moderator". You have to use filters, and kill
    posts from certain people, or entire threads.

    Alternatively, usually distributions have their own communication
    methods. I'm not familiar with Fedora, but surely they have their own
    mail lists or web forums, where spam is curtailed.
