If you want a mini 32-bit windows environment for some
reason, it is now possible to build all of PDOS with Visual Studio.
The assembler code has all been converted to masm format
to allow this.
It can also be built with Watcom.
There is also an entire public domain toolchain (including
a sufficiently masm-compatible assembler) that can build
it, with the sole exception of the C compiler, which is now
gccwin.
