Sorry for the delay; this is a talk I gave to the OSDC conf here,
http:///www.pjb.com.au/midi/osdc/index.html
on Much MIDI Stuff ...
The video is a bit more boring than it need have been:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnNdxzrt_jc
The problem is it spends most of its time staring at the slide,
losing the fact that I was moving around, pointing at bits of the
slide as I was talking about them. Another problem is I was only
just recovering from a flu, still clearing my throat all the time,
and this slows things down...
I've made a very slightly edited version
http://www.pjb.com.au/midi/osdc/MuchMIDIstuff.mp4
which has a couple of bits of timewasting removed, but which for
some reason is actually bigger that the original. If your Firefox
refuses to show "high-definition" mp4 files, this is a known bug,
but you should be able to download and view it by other means ...
Regards, Peter
P.S. Back on youtube, the "Javascript is Awe-ful" talk from the
same conference was good fun, but only for programmers.
