Are your app icon names shorter on the homescreen than in folders?
I'm sure it could depend on lots of things, including the launcher.
But that's why I'm asking only if you have the same experience as I do.

Take for example "BatteryBot Battery Indicator" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.darshancomputing.BatteryIndicator

That shows up as "Batter..." on my homescreen but "BatteryBot" in a folder.
How does it show up for you?
