This has to be one of the EASIEST ways to create a one-tap privacy
shortcut, bar none! <

As you know, privacy settings are scattered about so I'm creating, one by
one, one-tap shortcuts to put into a homescreen folder named "Privacy".
Looking around, I found yet another privacy-based setting scattered deeply inside Android settings, where, surprisingly, this Android setting is the
first I've ever seen that has its own button to make a shortcut to it!
Android 13 Settings > General management > Passwords and autofill >
Google > Gear >
There you have the choices of...
Offer to save passwords = on/off
Sign in automatically = on/off
But look below that - and you have an option to create a one-tap shortcut.
A one-tap shortcut to a privacy setting?
Wow!
Fancy that!
It doesn't get any easier than that!
Android 13 Settings > General management > Passwords and autofill >
Google > Gear > Add shortcut to your home screen
"To get here quicker, add Google Password Manager
to your home screen"
I wish all Android privacy settings were like that - as it would make it
easier to make a "Privacy" folder of privacy settings as shown below.

The whole point of Usenet is to find people who know more than you do.
And to contribute to the overall tribal knowledge value of the newsgroup.
