    On a 16:9 monitor, that would imply you're using 49" (diagonal) monitor.

    Even on the old 4:3 ratio monitors, that would be 40".

    Know many who do that, Clown?

    Son uses a 45" TV as a monitor.  Dirt cheap now and works great.  Do you have any idea how many reasonable-size xterms you can put on a 45" monitor?


    I know that such usage is the exception not the rule.
