It ceases to be shocking, actually, how ignorant you iKooks are.

The reason is clear that you defend all Apple flaws to the death, even as
it's obvious that Apple _crippled_ the iPhone in terms of ringtone formats.

    The only question is why.
What advantage is it to Apple to cripple primitive iPhone ringtone forats?

I've already shown it can be done right on the iPhone with no computer required. But trolls desperately want to ignore that. : )

Given that clusterfuck which Jolly Roger extolls exists, there _must_ be a reason that Apple crippled the iPhone in terms of ringtone format support.

    The question is why.
*What advantage is it for Apple to cripple iPhone ringtone format support?*

To get at the answer to _that_ question, I opened this thread just now...

*For what reason did Apple design the primitive iPhone to be crippled when it comes to ringtone formats?*

This video shows you how simple it can be.

    This is *way* simpler:

No. On Android, this is way simpler.
    1. Download almost any audio file format.
    2. Set it as your ringtone.

    Clearly, Android just works.
For the op, clearly, iOS does not.

But what is the _advantage_ to Apple of crippling the iPhone ringtones?
