    What load of drivel.

In a free society, people buy whatever products they like. Buying
products that you like is NOT “frivolously imposing restrictions and limitations on the freedom of consumers as they please”.

There is plenty of competition. Apple is not even #1 in ANY market they compete in. But feel free to continue to spout socialist BS. 🙄

Yes, Apple is successful. Yes, there are lots of socialist dipshits like
you who somehow feel threatened by that fact. Just grow up and get over
    it, OK?

BTW, capitalism DOES produce the best products. Because of competition.

Feel free to move to Russia. I’m sure they make great consumer products there.

You think climate change and pollution is gonna be any different whether you live in the fascist police state of Russia or the fascist police states of America?

Do you think capitalism is doing a great job at screwing up the environment
and people should actually think less and consume and produce even more garbage?

I'm not a socialist and human rights are not something primarily argued for
by people who call themselves socialists. I'm pro critical thinking and pro freedom and responsibility (not just with respect to humanity but also
    with respect to the environment).

The whole ideological distinction between capitalism and socialism has been rendered moot by technological innovation.
We now have so much abundance and wealth and so many ways to automate
work that we can just enjoy freedom and let the robots do all the work and everything can be free.
Scarcity is no longer an issue. We're close to robots that can create duplicates
of themselves and do pretty much anything a human could do (except better, cheaper and robots don't mind working 24/7),

So we've reached a point in the development of our collective species where
we have to step back and take stock of all the technology at our disposal and how we can use it optimally to ensure everybody can enjoy life in a sustainable fashion. Or we can just continue like a bunch of clueless herd animals to drive not just our own own species into extinction but also make the planet inhabitable
for other lifeforms (though life is pretty resilient, so it'll probably bounce back if
humans succeed in eliminating themselves from the biosphere).
