    It's a common task done all the time by people who kindly help others.

    I need to send a custom list of the best iOS apps on my iPad (along with a
    link to the IPA download to make it easier for the recipient).

    On Android, there are so many free ad-free gsf-free google-free (etc)
    apps to do that exact task on Android that it's clearly a common need.

    This is just one of many free ad free Android apps that does the job:
    <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.onyxbits.listmyapps>

    And this is the blurb... (verbatim)

    Question: Hi, I'm new to Android. Which apps must I absolutely have?
    Answer: Uhm, give me a minute to pen down the list (again)

    Ever found yourself in this situation? Your friend, uncle, aunt, etc.
    recently converted to Android and you, being the local tech guru, are now suppose to tell them what to download?

    Sifting through the app drawer is a hassle. What should you recommend? Why? and most importantly: how? A list with appname, market link and optionally a comment would be great, but is no fun to compile manually.
    With List My Apps, the task becomes as easy as checking the app(s) you want
    to recommend and sharing them as:

    * Plain text
    * HTML list (e.g. for blog comments)
    * BBCode list (used by many forums)
    * Markdown list (e.g. for Reddit)
    * Market URL (e.g. for direct sharing via barcode scanner app or importing
    in Raccoon: http://www.onyxbits.de/raccoon)
    * Any custom format, defined through the build-in template editor.

    Yep. You might suggest an app when someone asks for something specific,
    but simply sending full lists of apps to other people is incredibly
    nerdy and pointless ... which would explain why that brainless moron
    "Andy Burnelli" (aka loads of other anti-Apple troll poster names)
    wants to do it. :-\

    I'm with you on the opinion that I keep my installed apps to myself.
    There's no reason for others to have the same apps I have anyway.
    Let them pick their own. It's a free country after all.

    I don't, particularly when say someone asks which is the most useful nav
    app etc.

    There's no reason for others to have the same apps I have anyway.
    Let them pick their own.

    But telling them the reason you think one is better saves them
    having to try them all, particularly when they arent free.

    No it isnt if you are stupid enough to have a house in a home owners association.
