• Split screen and slide over

From John Hill@21:1/5 to All on Thu Dec 2 11:09:21 2021
Split screen and slide over are very clever and very useful to some. But I
am not a power user of my iPad, and am frequently inconvenienced by them.
For example, if I wish to copy an address from the URL field in Safari or
go to Bookmarks in Books, I tend to tap … by mistake.

This happens far more often than I need to use split screen and slide over.

I cannot find any way of disabling it or moving it. Is there something I'm missing?

    John.

I cannot find it, so perhaps it is gone, but there used to be a setting
    to turn of multitasking gestures.

It used to be in settings >> Home screen & Dock but I do not see it
there now. Sometimes things end up in Accessibility, but I didn't see it
    in a quick check.

That article is 18 months old, and iPadOS 15 doesn't have multitasking
    settings there.

Yes, you said that, and I agreed and provided a reference. I don't have
a modern iPad at my disposal at the moment, so if those settings exist elsewhere, I can't help. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
