Finally, Apple's iOS v12.5.5 fixed its App Store's stuck updated apps
that require newer iOS versions in 2 iPhone 6 +s & iPad air!

So many leaks (liquid [need a plumber for my body too] & digital types), pains, issues, false fire alarms, software updates, free game trials, etc. Also, BUSY & tired! :(
Note: A fixed width font (Courier, Monospace, etc.) is required to see this signature correctly.

Nothing in iOS 12.5.5 relates to app updates as far as I can see. Your
issue was probably just a local error that the update install process
    cleared.

As far as what you can see is what Apple wants you to see.

The problem cleared up here for me too.

it cleared up for me a week or two ago, and i didn't update anything.

the problem with app updates is server-side.

it's been an issue since the store first opened more than 13 years ago
and it normally resolves itself in a couple of days. sometimes less,
sometimes more. it's not a big deal.

How do you explain that the problem cleared up for many people *before*
this update was released, smart guy?
