• Why Some Floridians Are Choosing Not To Evacuate

From Lawrence D'Oliveiro@21:1/5 to All on Thu Oct 10 20:00:22 2024
Amid all the warnings that hurricane conditions are going to be
lethal, some people are choosing to stay not because they don’t
believe the Government or the weather scientists (seems to be a
worrying number of those), but for more, shall we say, profit driven
    reasons <https://www.theverge.com/2024/10/9/24266446/hurricane-milton-hits-tonight-and-its-past-the-point-of-evacuation-creators-are-still-there>.

I do not think it’s an accident that a lot of the people refusing
to evacuate are professional content creators. they know they’ll
never have this many eyeballs on them ever again

Is there a reason that you are posting thia in comp.misc? There is nothing
    on topic here.

Everyone here in the projected path made their decisions and took the appropriate actions. Those in evacuation zones did prepare and go elsewhere. Your included quote is beyond stupid, in my opinion. If it applied to anyone it is certainly not true of the millions here that made their decisions and took precautions.

Next time please hit "send" directly after such a statement.

    Thanks in advance.

Lawrence is more often trolling than providing any useful discussion.
His troll to non-troll ratio is sufficient that it is reasonable to
simply killfile him. His posting this into comp.misc is just yet one
    more "troll point" for him.
