    How will one search newsgroups?

    Use Google/DDG/Yandex/Bing with site:groups.google.com for the old
    stuff and site:narkive.com for new.

    They also stop the peering, so no new articles will reach Google Groups.

    They also don't care about spam from GMail or abuse from their cloud
    services.
