In principle, the decision making logic for when a message should
expire should be in procmail recipes. It is procmail that is best
equipped for this, and where the nature of a message is best known.
Does anyone know of a way for procmail to pass information about how
long a message should last to gnus?
Using the "auto-expire" and "total-expire" features of gnus forces us
to read every single spam message before the expiration clock begins,
which is obviously unacceptible.
