• Msgs v. Post

    In Mutt’s Index view, the status line at the bottom says

    “Msgs: x Post: y”.

    x does seem to correspond to the number of messages in the folder, but
    what about y? It is indeed sometimes equal to x, but can be less, I’ve observed. Does anyone know what that “Post” count means?

    Ah, of course, thank you! I’d confused myself by making $postponed point
    to an ordinary mailbox 😬, much better if it has a dedicated mailbox
    just for that purpose.
