Hi, I installed Mutt on AntiX Linux. Can read my Yahoo mail. When I try

I have nothing on SMIME or passphrase in my very basic muttrc.

    Hi Rob,

According to https://help.yahoo.com/kb/sln4075.html you need to
authenticate to send email. What do you have configured for smtp_url or sendmail in .muttrc?

You might try something like this in .muttrc:

    set smtp_url="smtps://youraddress@yahoo.com@smtp.mail.yahoo.com:587/"

msmtp or another MTA could also be used with the sendmail variable in
.muttrc instead of using mutt as the SMTP client.

    Hope that helps!

    Tom
