Deleted attached file isn't delete from server (gmail)

Hi,
I ordered messages (o+z) and have deleted attached files from a couple of messages. However, those attached files isn't deleted from same message in the gmail server side. I hint shift+$ for update the mail box.
There are a way to force an update in messages in the gmail side?
