• Second installation of Eudora in another drive

    From R Scs@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jan 13 01:10:16 2023
    Hello,

    I am a big fan of Eudora. Running it since 2000 with more than 6 profiles (mailboxs).

    During these years all accumulated attachments (around 30k files) are in Attachment folder, difficult to manage and periodic backup due to these number of files.

    I would like to keep same installation as it is and want to install another Eudora installation in another drive (F drive) where I can keep mails/attachments from 2023 onward. Current installation will be there only in case I need to refer previous
    messages. (Both instances will not run at same time)

    I have installation details as below:

    Win10 x64 bit.
    Eudora Version 7.1.0.9
    Eudora Installation : e:\Program Files\Qualcomm\Eudora\
    DataFolder=e:\Program Files\Qualcomm\Eudora\
    All attachments in e:\Program Files\Qualcomm\Eudora\ATTACH.ZIF\

    At the end of year I rename mail box to Year number for ex. In.mbx will be In-2022.mbx etc. so separating data before 2022 is not an issue.

    How can I install second installation and what points should be observe so that It will not interfere with my previous installation?

    Regards,
    Rakesh Patel
