• vacation broken with EAI

From Alex H@21:1/5 to All on Tue Aug 30 07:19:47 2022
    Hi Claus.

It seems adding support to EAI on sendmail makes vacation to stop working. I was able to narrow down to the inclusion of ICU lib - the simple addition of this library causes the misbehave. Is this something you can look at your end, is this something the
ICU folks have to fix on their end, or do we need to chase Eric A? ;)

I don't really like to look at some web pages, sorry.

However, I briefly did and it's not clear to me what exactly needs
to be done to reproduce the problem: just adding the library to
the list or also recompile with -DUSE_EAI ?
In the former case: maybe the answer is: "don't do that"?

    Will do.

I fully understand the "don't do that" without specifying -DUSE_EAI, however I wanted to attempt narrow down where the issue would be, if within the EAI code or with the library inclusion. At any case, with or without EAI, whenever libicuuc is added, the
    tool stops working.

Bug report coming soon. Thanks for all the work you do.

    Alex
