Step 1: Choose an Algorithm
Overloud BREVERB 2 v2.0.9-R2R has seven main algorithms to choose from: Hall, Room, Plate, Inverse, Spaces small, Spaces large and Sources. Each algorithm has its own character and parameters that you can tweak to suit your needs. You can access them by
clicking on the algorithm name on the top left corner of the plugin interface.
For example, if you want to create a classic reverb sound that is reminiscent of the '80s and '90s, you can choose one of the Lexi algorithms, such as Hall or Plate. These algorithms are designed to replicate the tone of the original hardware units,
including their A/D and D/A sections, which are an essential part of their sound. You can also adjust the EQ and GATE sections to further shape your reverb.
If you want to create a more modern and realistic reverb sound that adapts to your mix, you can choose one of the SPACES algorithms, such as Spaces small or Spaces large. These algorithms are designed to meet the high demands of audio professionals and
offer you up to 38 parameters to control every aspect of your reverb. You can also use the built-in size selector to fit all the reverbs that you need into your available space.
If you want to create a more creative and immersive reverb sound that places your sound sources in a 3D space, you can choose the SOURCE algorithm. This algorithm allows you to set the position of your sound sources by clicking on the graphic interface
and create life-like panoramas in your mix. You can also use the distance fader to control how far or close your sources are from the listener.
