Write a script to remove such spam from Google Groups like Python
Write a script to report spam to individual telecom operator (data to be read from headers)
If I write to the electronics group, every of my messages is followed by a number of fake messages using my nick name.
Since just few spammers run such scripts under Linux to generate fake traffic I would pay someone to have a script to read headers of fake messages and report the case to telecom operator
to stop such activity.
Ok, I can install Usenet reader for MS Windows to read full headers of messages
and report every fake message in my name case by case

This is your choice:
do nothing and let spammers to kill python group
or use your intelligence to keep spammers far from Python group
Google Groups team set the rules and pays moderator to moderate Google Groups if report is received.
So just write a script to report every spam activity directly to COB at Google.
