    • DB2 maintenance activities
    • DB2 system tools and related maintenance and upgrades.
    • DB2 Utilites Suite for z/OS
    • DB2 Log Analysis Toll
    • DB2 Query Monitor
    • DB2 Query Monitor for z/OS
    • DB2 SQL Performance Analyzer
    • DB2 Object Comparison Toll for z/OS
    • DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS
    • DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS
    • DB2 Table Editor for z/OS
    • Software support for the subsystem of related applications
    • E2E DR support and checkouts
    • Other ISV software product maintenance
    • Security patching of all the DB2 related applications
    • Oncall support
    • DB2 Security healthchecks
    • Basic DB2 Health checks, incident management
    • IBM Product Ordering and library maintenance
    • PMR Creation and follow ups
    • Providing Support during IPL
    • DR Support - checkouts only.
    Position2)
    • Offer DBA DB2 support for application development team.
    • Performance Tuning of DB2 Online and Batch Applications.
    • Assist in capacity planning, space management and data maintenance activities for database system.
    • Creating the database and tablespaces as per the requirements of the project.
    • Perform database recovery and backup tasks on daily and weekly basis.
    • Worked with various IBM DB2 Online and Offline utilities on db2 objects. • Resolve any database issues in accurate and timely fashion.
    • Monitor databases regularly to check for any errors such as existing locks and failed updates.
    • Manage database logins and permissions for users.
    • Experience with USS and zFS.
    • Production Data Archival and housekeeping
    • Monitoring the thread activities on DB2 subsystem using Omegamon
    • Granting Privileges and authorizations on Database, Tablespace and Tables for users
    • Working with Plan and Packages.
    • Detection and removal of pending status on all Table spaces.
