Must Have
AWS Data Ingestion Services
Glue, Lake Formation, Lambda, Quicksight, SageMaker, DataBrew, DataWrangler, RedShift
Don't need to be an "expert" in all of these, but should be familiar with all and very strong in most
Languages
Python and PySpark (ideally both)
Scala is a plus
Pluses
Familiar with Data Modeling
Big Data exp. (Hadoop)
DevOps exp.
Containerization (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, etc)
CI/CD pipelines (not creating from scratch)
Any Financial Services or Insurance exp.
Experience Required:
10+ years of professional experience in technology of which at least 3-5 years is in AWS data & analytics technology hands on roles leading, coaching and mentoring high performing data and analytics engineers. Life & Annuity insurance and/or Financial
Services experience is a Plus
