    Sad news received today - Ian Sharp passed away at 89

    Subject: Sad news

    I am so sorry to have to tell you that Ian died at 11.27 this morning.
    I was at his side, and he slipped peacefully away, age 89.

    (For those who had not heard, he was diagnosed with lung cancer 7 months
    ago, had radiation treatment and was able to enjoy tennis and dining
    with friends until his health started to decline late in May. He was
    cared for in Hospice House in Sarasota these past few days.)
