• Retiring GT.M on Cygwin

    Hello Everybody,

About 4.5 years ago, I and Christopher Edward completed the port of GT.M to Cygwin x32. I have used it extensively in day to day work almost continuously for these last few years.

It's apparent now that Cygwin x32 isn't going to be supported anymore, and for various reasons, it's too difficult to port YottaDB to Cygwin x64 (mainly Cygwin x64 uses Win64 ABI, not the AMD64 ABI, and it's too difficult for me to re-write the assembly
    in YottaDB).

In the last year or so, WSL2 has been released by Microsoft, and I installed YottaDB on Ubuntu 18.10 running on WSL2. It works very well, and at this point I don't plan on using GT.M on Cygwin x32 anymore.
