• mupip backup and read write for all

From Antoine Koener@21:1/5 to All on Wed Dec 16 00:36:02 2020
    Hello everyone,

What is the rationale behind the -rw-rw-rw (chmod 666) of a mupip backup file ?

Having 'world' being able to read or even worse, write, the backup file is, from my point of view, bad.

Is there a way to make mupip to preserve my umask ?

    Thanks !

[KSB] What are the permissions of the .dat file being backed up? Also, which version of YottaDB are you using?

Culprit was the original .dat file...

I still have not moved to yottadb right now, but 2021 is the year for that :)
