    This is a zip file . After extracting it will be a cache database cache.dat .

    Looks like that zip file will give you a CACHE.DAT file which should contain a version of VistA, which happens to include FileMan and Kernel.
    However... as far as I know, for IRIS, you'll need an IRIS.DAT file, and IRIS does not recognize CACHE.DAT files (just renaming it didn't help last time I tried it).
    You're probably looking for instructions to obtain and install a stand-alone version of FileMan.
    I hope George Timson is still monitoring this group; he'd probably know where to find that.

    Hi
    Thanks Ed. have downloaded MSC File Manager 22.2
    and installed successfully on IRIS
    The only thing i had to do is to map 6 % routines to the "user" namespace .

    DIDTC -> %DTC
    DIDT-> %DT
    DIRCR->%RCR
    DIISS->%ZISS
    DIIS->%ZIS
    DIISC->%ZISC

    D ^DINIT - Completed successfully .

    Thanks
    .

    I am glad you found the answer. I don't usually read this list day to day. If you searched in the hardhats mailing list, you would have found your answer, which it seems you did.
