    Though an experienced programmer I am inexperienced with OO and thus with Smalltalk. I have been reading about it and its successors and an Internet search led me to Object Arts and to Dolphin.

    However I was unable to install a working version 6 or 7 on this Win 10 Pro machine, so I have joined this news group. Thank you to Dina Smirnov and to Zenchess who have already - within minutes - answered two of my questions.

    I'm sure there will be more, but in the meantime, thanks to all for your contributions.

    Did you installed Dolphin 7 in Win10 finally ?

    Follow these instructions (https://github.com/dolphinsmalltalk/Dolphin) it will be esy to install.

    Or just download the installer at: https://github.com/dolphinsmalltalk/Dolphin/releases
    (see Dolphin7Setup.exe)

    It's good to see new people get involved with Dolphin. I really think it is a great environment that is easy to build windows apps with and easy to learn. I have been planning on making a video series to try to spread the word.
