• fourth Scheme Topics mailing list: Schemecomm

    From Arthur A. Gleckler@21:1/5 to All on Sun Oct 6 11:01:22 2019
SRFI Editor here. I'm happy to announce
the creation of a fourth Scheme Topics
mailing list under the SRFI (Scheme
    Requests for Implementation) umbrella:
    Schemecommm. Schemecommm is for
    discussing all kinds of
    machine-to-machine communications in
    Scheme, e.g. UDP/TCP/web sockets,
distributed hash tables, and radio, as
well as whatever else Schemers think up.

Scheme Topics mailing lists are for
    discussing specific subjects that we
hope may lead to SRFIs and other
    cooperative work, but which are
    currently not ready for specific
proposals through the SRFI process. The
other three Scheme Topics lists are
    Schemedoc, Schemepersist, and Schemeweb.

If you'd like to join the discussion,
please use the form at the bottom of the
    SRFI subscriptions page:

    <https://srfi.schemers.org/srfi-list-subscribe.html>

I'm looking forward to many fruitful
    discussions, starting with Amirouche
    Boubekki's proposal for peer-to-peer
    communication in Scheme, which he
    introduced here:
