I am trying to decide where to invest my time
on what is related to graphical user interface.

I have done some work around Scheme in the browser
    see https://hyper.dev/blog/state-of-scheme-in-the-browser-in-2019.html

My understanding is most schemers will prefer
    to avoid browsers all together...

    I can't agree.
I have a little project at work, where I use Racket specifically for its capabilities of running portable GUI widgets (but the option isn't available in the poll)

Python has a little known GUI system called enaml, which can run both on desktops and in the browser. I really wish Racket (or some other portable and easy to install Scheme implementation) had something like that.

A good solution that I imagine would be as seamless as possible.
I've found the use of Python extremely irritating, because I had bad experiences with mismatched versions and portability issues.

But the solution to GUI problems requires very broad thinking about systems.
